Hi,
I've been asked to determine how many new VMs we can add to our existing vSphere infrastructure. Seems an easy task but I'm getting a little bit confused looking at the metrics in vCOPS.
According to vCOPS memory usage is 76% and taking this value under consideration I wouldn't probably create any new VMs on this host as I read that this is a good practise to keep memory usage under 80%. What puzzles me is that "Demand" us only 14% (is it memory currently used?). Which one of this metrics should I use to determine capacity in terms of RAM?
